What kind of visa do I need in order to travel to China?
Nearly all foreigners need to obtain a visa to enter into China . For most business travelers and tourists you need either require a F-visa or L-visa before coming to China. Below are some of the most common visa types for overseas visitors:
L-visa for vacation, visiting relatives, or other personal affairs. In most cases, L-visa is valid for 3 months.
F-visa is issued to overseas professionals who come to China for business trips, academic activities, conferences, cultural exchanges, or internships. Normally a F-visa is valid for 6 months.
X-visa is issued to foreigners who come to China for school, training programs, or internships that are longer than 6 months. If such activity is shorter than 6 months, you will be issued with a F-visa.
Z-visa is issued to foreigners who are legitimately employed in China and their families.
For foreigners staying in China for more than 6 months, the visa will need to be renewed either in China or by leaving the country and renewing it outside of China .
Will Shanghai TopPA help me getting a Chinese visa?
Unfortunately, at the moment, Shanghai TopPA does not offer Chinese visa services. You need to contact a Chinese embassy or consulate general in your region or country to apply for a Chinese visa.
When do I need to pay service depostit to Shanghai TopPA?
After you confirm with Shanghai TopPA with the services you request, you will receive an invoice of deposit from us with the instruction of how to make the payment.
When do I need to make the final payment to Shanghai TopPA?
In general, your final payment should be paid to Shanghai TopPA at least 7 days prior to your departure date to China to secure your service. Your service request with Shanghai TopPA will not be effective unless we have received your full payment.
Do I need health/travel insurance going to China?
We highly recommend you to get international health/travel insurance going abroad. You need to contact your local insurance agencies to get information for such services.
How do I meet with my personal assistant / tour guide in China after I arrive?
Your personal assistant / tour guide from Shanghai TopPA will either meet you at the airport that you arrive or at the hotel you will be staying according to your request. Detailed instructions will be sent to you prior to your arrival to China. You can always Contact Us directly if you are unclear of the arrangement.
If I decide to withdraw from Shanghai TopPA's service after I have paid the deposit or the full payment, will I get my money back?

What kind of support will I get from Shanghai TopPA while I travel in China?
Your personal assistant and tour guide will not only be there for you during their service hours, he/she is also your 24/7 call center while you are in China. They will work whole-heartedly on your behalf at anytime when you need them. Shanghai TopPA has office in Shanghai with English speaking staff that can also help you with any general problems or inquiries. A brief orientation will be given to you to help adjust to life in China.
